The globally renowned Senate House keeps 1920’s glamour alive in central London. Whilst these historic settings enable you to travel back in time, our services and equipment are very up to date ensuring the venue provides outstanding facilities.

Student Central

Student Central is the largest student hub in London and is situated adjacent to the iconic Senate House.

With fantastically spacious and well-lit rooms, Student Central provides 12 well-equipped meeting spaces, suitable for boardroom meetings, seminars, training sessions and workshops. Supported by our in-house events team and our catering service, these meeting spaces are practical and convenient.

Garden Halls

The most recent development in the University of London complex, Garden Halls is home to a student residence, as well as a selection of modern meeting rooms and sophisticated breakout spaces.

With eight meeting spaces on offer, and a maximum capacity of 40 in the largest of these, Garden Halls has a comfortable, cutting-edge feel with each meeting room certain to lend gatherings a professional feel.

Location

Flexible Event Spaces

Our diverse range of spaces can be adapted to suit all manner of events from intimate meetings to large scale conferences, gala dinners and fashion shows. Ranging from small executive suites to our grand hall, we can provide a wide range of spaces to suit different types of events. High specification audio-visual facilities and adaptable layouts mean the spaces can be tailored easily to your event.

Our flagship venue, Senate House also has several outdoor spaces, which provide a chance to enjoy some green space in the middle of the city. Our Malet Street Garden is ideal for parties and functions, with a wet weather alternative provided free of charge.

Large-scale events at Senate House

We offer our guests a choice of dedicated conference venues suitable for large-scale events, such as Chancellor’s HallBeveridge Hall and MacMillan Hall. These rooms not only boast original Art Deco interiors, but natural acoustics and flexible layout options. Macmillan and Beveridge Halls are amongst the largest London venues, making them the ideal space for large events in the capital.

Our dedicated events team

At University of London, our events team have played host to businesses from around the world. We are experienced at working on an international basis and can more than handle the logistics of long-distance event planning.

We take a partnership approach to make the process of organising an event easier, keeping in regular contact to make sure you achieve your dream event. Our event team will work around differing time zones to achieve the planning and organisation needed for your event. From the start we will ensure everything is as organised as possible; for example we would advise you to investigate and apply for any visas you might need well in advance.
