Senate House shortlisted in the Conference Venue & Suppliers Awards 2013

Senate House is delighted to be in the running to win the award for ‘Best Medium Conference Centre,’ in the Conference Venue & Suppliers Awards 2013.

This year’s award ceremony will be hosted by BAFTA award-winning comedienne Jo Brand in the Brewery, where over 500+ industry professionals will gather in anticipation for these all important awards.

All conference venues will be assessed by the judging panel, consisting of Operations Directors and Managing Directors of some of the most established Conference organising companies in the UK.

Established London Conference Venue 

Senate House is one of most established London conference centres set in the thriving Bloomsbury location of the capital city. The conference venue has been an iconic presence on London’s skyline since 1936, continuing to inspire and entertain guests from across the globe.

Boasting of opulence and elegance, Senate House seamlessly blends 1930s style with 21st century technology and facilities.

The beauty of the building has appealed to creative industries and has been featured in numerous blockbuster films and British television programmes. The venue’s latest appearance was in new Batman film ‘The Dark Night Rises,’ featuring the venues grand Foyer.  

Senate House is also a hot-ticket venue during London Fashion Week, the most influential event on the global fashion calendar. 

Beneath the venue’s grand exterior are a variety of events spaces perfectly suited to large and intimidate events. The venue frequently hosts fashion shows, exhibitions, product launches and corporate events. The versatile spaces are also used for seminars and workshops on a daily basis, revealing the venue’s flexibility.

Following a multi-million pound refurbishment, there are now 29 conference rooms in total, all superbly appointed and effortlessly elegant.
