Gordon Square - Outdoor Wedding Venue in London

One of several delightful outdoor spaces connected with Senate House, Gordon Square Garden has a distinguished association with the Bloomsbury Group, many of whom lived in the square. It is also overlooked by the famous Dr William’s Library and Christ the King Church, described by John Betjeman as “the grandest Gothic revival church in London”.

Extensively renovated, comfortably accommodating up to 150 people and large enough to house a marquee, the most substantial of our urban gardens is a pleasant oasis in the heart of the city and the ideal location for an outdoor wedding reception or garden party. After dark, creative lighting and outdoor heaters can be used to transform the garden into a sophisticated evening venue. Gordon Square Garden is available on a dry hire basis, requiring you to organise your own catering, security and toilet provision. We also recommend that you arrange a wet weather alternative for events planned in this area.
