Chancellor's Hall - Unique Wedding Venue in London
The Chancellor’s Hall occupies a commanding position on the first floor of the Senate House tower and is a beautiful space. Four full-height windows on the east and west sides of the room fill the room with light and emphasise the Travertine marble, English oak and bronze interior.
Created originally for entertaining representatives of the colleges that comprise the University of London, today the Chancellor’s Hall is a serious space for receptions, seminars, conferences and exhibitions. It is equally well suited to an informal buffet reception for 200 guests, a formal lecture for an audience of 140, or a boardroom-style meeting for up to 30 people.
Elegant by day and night, its impressive oak doors are approached from the equally stunning Grand Lobby overlooking the ceremonial staircase. In practical terms, the Chancellor’s Hall is highly versatile – affording generous circulation and meeting space and also large enough for extensive filming.
